Arrived home last night with the new addition - 1928 ES2.
Not perfect but very good.
Riding it compared to the 60's & 70's bikes makes you feel like a one legged man in a bum kicking contest!
I think it will be a great relationship!

Bike looks great, not sure about the rider lol, you need to dress for the age of the bike wear something authentic from the times, anyway good sore Rob.

That's what I was thinking when I said about wearing something authentic, your Grandad be looking down on you, I remember that day you showed me that poster and I told you I seen it before, small world lol.

I'll bet the racing leathers drew some attention, from more babes than just your grandmother!
You are really lucky to still have those photos. That is an early model Mitchell motion picture camera on the platform of the observation house.

Even after all these years I still miss those damn cigarettes.

You need a duffle coat, deer-stalker cap and Ugg boots. Also a General McArthur corn-cob pipe. Then loudly declare ' I SHALL RETURN'.

I take it the goggles on your helmet are used for looking for foot-prints ?

No - I have had surgery to my RH eyelids so need extra protection against wind.
I find goggles the perfect answer.

Did you think they were for show?

Hi Rob, did you have trouble finding goggles that would fit into the ¾ helmet ? . Cheers

No - I got them with the helmet from Davida in the UK
They are Aviator T2 and accommodate glasses worn under them. I'm very happy with how they work.
Cheers

EDIT: BTW the helmet is a Davida Ninety-2
