Don,
It sure would be great if you and some of the other 7th degree master fabricators on this forum had a presence on the Access Norton Store, with pictures. Lots of pictures, in addition to the pictures, and in a nice printable format there should be contact info, PayPal, Visa, shipping stuff that we can leave laying around for our generous relatives around the holidays.

Bob, the Access Norton Store is owned and run by Jerry, its his business, lots of forums have a store but
it is usually owned and run by the site owner, there would be no benefit to the store owner if
he was advertising other peoples products unless he was to get a percentage of the sales.
In the Wanted to Sell forum members can advertise their items but usually its prohibited for
people like me who manufacture a few parts,
the mere fact that I'm a member here gets me a few sales.

I watch Don's eBay auctions to keep up with what he has for sale.

User name is Bikepender1

You could just ask Jerry, a percentage could cover his overhead and everyone makes out.

Looking for product tester.
My new disc brake kit (see earlier posts) is getting closer to completion. I will be looking for someone to
do some testing of my set up. Here's the deal, I'll sell a complete kit at a much discounted price to
an owner of a currently on the road pre MK3 bike on the condition that upon receipt of the kit, the
bike owner is to fit the brake kit immediately for evaluation, I'm not interested in supplying the brake
kit to either someone who is just looking for a bargain or someone who wishes to use the kit for a project
bike in the making, hope thats clear. the brake kit needs a 1/2" master cyl, if need be I'll supply either
or both a resleeved Norton Mastercylinder and or one of my 1/2" mastercylinders that accept the Lucas
switch block. If you would be interested please PM me.

Too Far away from finishing my bike yet to be useful to you but what is the projected finish cost ?

Ya know I'm instantly interested but how the heck do ya do test compares and who'd believe me anyway. It takes some good tire howling squealling cycles from hi speeds down hill preferably to heat up harsh enough to test fading tolerance. There should be a flat center on front tire by end of a testing session and slab side side walls.

I think he's looking for someone to stress test the front end and see if it breaks. I can't think of anyone better!

Ugh maybe so swishersweetie, with the pasture gooffer holes and roots to fly across or into ugh but that level of testing could break bike or pilot parts first, so not exactly 'jumping' at the offer. The main reason though is even if the best lastting kit there ever was - it ain't factory so not for Trixie and Peel can't use it for a few reasons. To be impolite you were the first to come to my mind as one already testing forks beyond anything I'm up for : )

It ain't factory? What exactly is "factory" still left on your bikes?

No, its not about testing to see if anything breaks ,in particular the fork slider as its cast in A356 high tensile
alloy and the fact that the caliper mounting section on the rear of the slider is 5-1/2" in length
makes a good strengthening gusset, I expect it would be stronger than the stock item and I cant recall
seeing to many of them break.
the testing is merely getting an unbiased opinion on fit up of the complete kit as well as quality of the
components and of course braking performance .

I was of course kidding about the stress testing. Any chance for me and hobot to exchange pleasantries.

Right-O maddass I didn't think it was toughness testing needed as obvious your stuff is plenty robust. A decade ago I'd jumped in on the kit while it was still being offered and hope others understand what they might be missing out on in the window of opportunity opening up for who knows how long. I'm a split brain character w/o the anesthesia ahead of time so to keep peace in my skull marrow Trixie goes by the good book p/n's while Peel has jumped so far over the Norton fence its no longer really Norton at all but for TS engine cover.

Thanks for all the offers of help, I now have 3 "testers" to try out the brake kit, so that should give us plenty of feedback, I'll try and come up with a final selling price for the kit with a list of whats included,
Looks like the kit will have the option of a mastercylinder,
keep you posted.

I am pretty sure that the only part in my build that will have ever seen a Norton factory/warehouse will be exactly that Hobot....The TS Engine cover...

Maddass, interested in knowing more about M/Cyl alone....race application for Lockheed CP2696 single Caliper...

this is my 1/2" mastercylinder for Lucas switch blocks, for racing? I'm not sure.
