Peter, do you have a lever with the mirror hole? Can you post a pic with a view from above?

Rivera, i know these levers from my 1970 BSA B44VS. They have the 7/8 inch distance from pivot to cable hole which is important for an effective front brake.
Maybe they where also used on early Commandos.
Andover Norton sells newly made ones which look very similar.

I have the same brake lever with choke on my 70 Commando.
Already ordered on of the switches an will give it a try.
Want to get rid of the clumsy stock switch, see my posts above
 
Yes, now i see that you have the same lever.
Maybe you can post a picture when its done.
