My new project
Anyone recognise the front end
Or back end?
Looks like kwak to me
Maybe gpz 900 arm
The front calipers look like zed also?
It has 4 bolt discs and I think out of Japanese bikes it was only Kawasaki that used 4 bolt fixings
It's supposed to be a 920
It has pazon ignition
Hasn't run for two years

Kawasaki caliper & rotor, at first glance.
Rear fender & swingarm too.
Sporster tank
It's a mk3 lump with mk 3 chaincase but a pre MK3 gearbox with twin adjusters so I'm guessing there's a belt drive in there
Switchgear looks like Harley to me as does the seat

I love the trailer baz.

Minimalist elegance.
Adjustable.
Knock downable.

I made one for my snowmobile, (working nightshift) 1986.
A shipping container that our shop's new Mazak had come in provided the 2" x 2" x .060 square tubing for free.
Ramp stowed under.
Sandblasted & painted with Corlar.
Light as a feather to go behind my '83 Jetta turbo diesel.
Lasted 35 years before the road salt won the battle.

I made that trailer 30 years ago
Yep it's adjustable in length and comes apart in 5 sections that'd fit in the boot of a small car
So I don't have it bouncing around empty going too collect a bike
It's also carries my Wolsey stationary engine

Yep - looks like Z1000 front brakes & possibly forks.
Swinging arm looks generic - GPz 900 had a 12mm hex adjuster hole on the eccentric.

Keep the motor & sell the rest to Henry Cole 😄

Curious how they did the rubber mounted carbs.
Did the split and machine the manifolds or what?
Picture would nice once you depart it.

They are just aftermarket parts from the time
Mick hemmings used to sell them and I expect they are still available from other suppliers
Not hard to make if you have a lathe

tons out there

Picked my new toy up from my mates lockup yesterday
And after quite a few electrical gremlins and stale fuel etc it's now a runner
I thought I'd set my camera up just to see if it'd start
The camera phone mike makes it sound terrible
But it's a dead quiet motor
No rattles or smoke
