Neil Peart drummer & rider RIP

    Maybe best know Canadian drummer has passed at age 67 , he spent a lot of time on 2 wheels ... he was one of the best !

    Yes , he was an avid biker published several books on the subject including one dealing with Rush farewell tour , he rode to all dates , most of his Ride books deal with solo extended tours .... weird that same type of brain cancer felled him as our beloved Gord Downey front man of the Tragically Hip a couple years back.....

    I would hate to be killed in a road accident - while racing would be bad enough.

    Neil Peart came into the BMW dealership that I worked at for some parts. He noticed that we carried his books and asked if it was ok if he signed them on the inside as a surprise thank you to the purchaser. He signed all 20 some copies that we had, all with a message expressing gratitude that someone thought enough to purchase his book. I still have my signed copy of Ghost Rider
