Really nice looking bike.

Can you offer some insight as to the upside of the Hagon's over standard replacement shocks?

No upside over stock for street use. They're not re-buildable nor adjustable. Difference between damping and progression over Girlings or NJBs for that matter are not likely noticeable for someone < 200lbs. The simple fact is the old NJBs were worn out, and a buddy of mine had these tucked away in the back of his shop... I gave him a 24 and some time on my lathe in exchange

I reinforced both my commando centre stands and made up better pivots for them as well. They are bullet proof now.

John, I know the road well.

Titahi Bay, Miramar and now Kerikeri.
I think the Mangamuka's up here in Northland could give the Rimutaka's a run for their money. But the Takaka Hill would beat all wouldn't you say.

Dereck

For reasons we need not go into I lived four years in Eastern Europe. And traveled over the Carpathian mountains to Tranzylvania many times. Including these two roads. Unfortunately in a car but if ever there were bike roads these are it

Of the two I think I prefer the Transalpina
