Set up for a cnc job i:e the program isn't usually cost effective for one offs , if it's just dividing head then a good machinist or tool maker with mill , would do the trick .

Easy lathe job. Any nearby machine shop can help.
I've know the owner here 30 years.

not easy for me and my old small machines. No indexing head ( hence the need to use a hex bar ), the pulley just clears the lathe table, you can't true the inner side of the pulley up on the spindle without it unscrewing . No cross feed and the need to excavate .700" of material on the outer side is a pain. A one piece assembly made of steel would be the ticket , but impossible for me to machine a hex recessed inside a bore.

No problem. Any lathe equipped with live tooling will bust that right out.
