Can anyone shed any light on these crankcases? They are obviously early generator twin cases, possibly unfinished or new old stock? No engine or model number stampings, casting number T2214 inside the timing case and T2150 on the drive side, with that odd bar across the crankcase mouth... possibly an artifact from the casting process??
They do have matching case-half number stampings C875 inside the drive-side case near the casting number, and in the timing chest above the intermediate spindle drilling, which I assume was done after they were line-bored... Other than that there's no indication they were ever built up as an engine...
Any thoughts???
