Alrighty, a nice piece to share. if Norton had gone into the matching accessory market like Harley they might of kept head above water. New Norton knows where its real value lies, new company owner wears a new Norton watch that costs a few 1000 bux.

Nice of your kids to see what is inportant to you and get you a meaningful present. wear it with pride and Take them out for a ride.

Nice kids Swoosh you must have done something right raising them. Any Idea where it came from? I'de like to look into buying one.

Yes, I have some great kids. I am very lucky.

I got it from Eddy Platts at http://www.timefactors.com/smiths.htm. A great guy to deal with.

I didn't know until recently that Smiths had made watches. They made a famous military watch and Sir Edmund Hillary climbed Mt Everest with one.

It's a very nice watch.
 
Ha ha ... Three thousand since I had the clocks rebuilt. The odometer never worked right when I bought it new in '74 so I just had the guy zero it out when he rebuilt the clocks last year. Quite a few more miles than that on it.
