my new electronic ignition

I have a Power Arc Advanced Electronic Ignition ,that I got from Old Britts, on my 1974 Commando. Runs very well and strong. The question is how to hold that semi flimsy "ENCODER DISC" in one place while tightening it. It always moves a little when I tighten that bolt and throws the timing off some.

It takes a few tries, but I just rotated the disc by the amount it moves when tightened. Eventually you'll get it right.

Thanks, That's what I've been trying to do. I must be pretty close as the motorcycle runs well.
