When I was trying to help him out that's where he was in a place called The blossoms at berryville Arkansas. I know he was from Arkansas but I don't know what town. There was a member on here who posted a Facebook page which had information on his situation. I believe the members handle was something like 1973x1974. I believe he was from California. But a few times I did talk to him while he was in the home he did say that the wife sold all his Norton stuff, and I believe he even lost the house. And the name of the Facebook poster is definitely a good old southern boy. Billy Williams. At least his parents didn't name him William Williams 😆

OMG just as I suspected there are 1333 people named Billy Williams in Arkansas. WTF

How will the new owner go about to register these bikes? There are no titles apparently.

It's only a problem if a person decides to MAKE IT a problem.
Vintage vehicles predate title laws. There are procedures in place. All the clucking I read just is indicative of people choosing to "arm wrestle" with State bureaucracy.
Speaking about US laws only.

As I remember it, he had run out of money to pay the nursing home, so presumably everything had been sold, friends and wife gone. It was very sad and depressing to read the posts on Facebook, but then they stopped. Always wondered if he ended up being parked on the street in a wheelchair, or if there was some other solution to his predicament.

1200 miles away.

In one of the photos you can definitely see the top of the TTi box. Magnesium has those little white pock marks.

I thought that was a towel with all the nappy dots on it. :) Magnesium never crossed my mind, and I own one, but I take care of my toys. If it is in good shape, it's an interesting bunch of parts for $4500. I'd like to make that swing arm work and find out if those Ohlins shocks are as good as Ohlins usually is. It's gone to somebody closer to the parts by now.

TTIs come in alloy normally, magnesium if specified. Mag is more expensive but lighter. Dunno how much lighter tho to be honest.

Yeah, I didn't think mine was magnesium, but I didn't check the spec, so thought I'd not say one way or another. Thanks

yeah that's absolutely incredible for $4500

(this is also where I feel like we're about to find out the buyer talked him down to $2800)

He spent years working on that bike, invested every dime, still far from finished,
and the way he intended to use it, it wouldn't have lasted a week..

If he knew it would only last one minute he still would have built it
It was losing his mate Wesley then losing his foot that put paid to it
He told me he lived in the same house as his wife but with no relationship
He was trying to sell his property and spoke of buying a yaught to live on
