Mmmmm.... Fastback???

Looking at the SS880 Scrambler, I am wondering how a Fastback rear cowl will look on my, soon to be finish project... Will this part fit my -73 frame? How is fit? Seat?? Will it look good with my Roadster tank?? So many choices...

Roadster tank may be too short. The Interback or (Fasterstate?) is a fairly common mod. The tailsection will fit most frames, although some frames apparently have a loop that is too wide. I personally have never seen one like that.

The seat is a modified fastback where the ears are cut off and the cover re-done. The tailsection attaches at the shock bolt and has a metal strap that bolts to the underside and captures the rear frame loop. The early style taillight and Fastback license bracket (or custom made) must be used.

On "Commando Bizarro" I am running a Hi-rider tank and a Fastback tail-section, I got a Fastback seat pan and the last thing will be to have a HD-guy make the seat "right".
