MkIII Head Steady

Lot's of head steady discussion of late, but I was wondering, what are the setup parameters for the MkIII model? Seems like I remember a certain assembled spring length figure. Is that all there is to it? There are two notches to seat the spring into in the frame tube clip that bolts to the coil carrier. I just re-assembled as-was after replacing all the stock fasteners with stainless.

Thanks. I was able to set it according to the book. Evidently it had been set a little loose when I transplanted the 850 motor into the '71 frame.
