Mk3 tidy up
Mk3 tidy up
Mk3 tidy up

New IKON shocks
New chain
Powder coated swinging arm
Swinging arm bush to roller bearing conversion
Some wiring tidy up
Paint job

Now I got to wait for the snow to melt, so I can go get it dirty.

Next things on this bike
New head
Cylinders powder coated

Now onward with the BSA yay

Red bikes are definitely the fastest, and most impressive. Beautiful detailing and parts selection.

Dual discs, sweet!!

Pull that rubber thing up on the left fork before you go outside with it. ;)

Can I come over for a visit if I promise to wipe off the all drool I'm likely to leave on the bikes?

The bikes are nice - how about coming and showing me how to make my shop look that tidy :) I'm generally happy if I can get from one side of it the other without tripping over something!

I tidied it up, normally mess everywhere

I tidy up just to make a mess, lucky I have plenty of hiding spaces in my shed, wish I could keep my shed as clean as your's Jerry, but then I do know where everything is when my shed is in a mess, seems to work for me lol.

Jerry, as usual beautiful stuff. Although I did like that green you had before, but Red is the fastest color. As far as shop neatness goes the last time I posted a picture of my garage Nigel (you know who you are) shamed me, so kudos to you for cleaning up.

Pete

Nice!

How is the rear Brembo?

I know what the front one is like. :)
The rear brembo is great. It stops very well. I love this bike. I know it’s going to handle much better with those ikon shocks as well. I have them on my other commando, and can say from experience that they make a big difference.

Yes, I have the Ikons on my 850 as well. I love them too.

If you don't have them, get Lansdowne dampers (or Cosentino or...), they really do complete the package.

I been running Koni (Ikons) on my Norton since 1978 and have a new set of Ikons on the project build and just bought a set of Ikons for my 1200 Thruxton, so simple and make a big improvement to the handling and they are rebuildable, I had a set of Gazi shocks on my old Thruxton they took months to get them dialed in right, who needs 37 damper adjustments and wind up spring adjustment that takes so long to do, the Ikons are so simple and will last a life time.
