MK3 shift mechanism

Hi Mk3 folks. I have a question:

My gearbox is together and inner cover is about to go on. Please could you tell me if the part in the photo is the roller for quadrant?
Most of the parts for my outer cover shift mechanism are missing and I am not familiar with the MK3 setup. I am examining the book, but any photos & assembly tips would be appreciated if you have them.

Hey Glen- I sold my MK2 and have an FJR 1300 (+ MK3). Would come and join you but drank too many beers lol
