The front hydraulic line is a straight in fitting on the master cylinder, which is almost impossible to use with short bars. At best it can be fitted with a bad "S" bend. Even if I substituted a single braided stainless line all the way down to the caliper it is still tough to clear the top fork nut. Has anyone substituted a banjo fitting at the M/C instead of the straight in fitting? I realize the straight in fitting is more secure but plenty of bikes use banjos at the M/C or caliper. It would sure be a lot easier and would look a lot better.
