Hi,
Does anyone have the necessary information about the amount of metal that needs to be shaved off the front iso tube from a Mk II so that I may use the isos and adjuster from a MkIII, please?
Thanks in advance,
Paul.

According to the tech Digest, the main tube of the front engine mounting plate needs to be shortened in a lathe so that 1/4" of the tube protrudes from each side of the engine mounting tube. No mods needed for the rear,,,, end of quote.

You can now buy kits that need no modifacation i got mine from RGM .

Thanks to each of you - I found the information I had previously lost. Yes, indeed, there should be 0.250 inches each side of the front mount and, as noted, the rear doesn't need modification. I had done this ( with great success) on my own bike a couple of years ago and am starting a restoration for a friend, but was uncertain of the details.
Thanks again, fellas.
Paul.
