You will probably find the console harness section colours match those of the main harness section-so the main harness colours continue to the lights.
So:
WN (white/brown) continues to ignition/charge warning (red)
G (green) to neutral (green)
GR & GW (green/red and green/white) to turn indicator warning (yellow)
UW & R (blue/white & red) to main/high beam warning (blue)

The Neutral and Ignition lights also have a W (white) feed which isn't included in the console harness.

No, you most probably have Canadian coloured wiring, the key is in the repair manual. My MK3 is the same the colours don't match the manual, but it is easy to follow when you have spotted it. The idea was that it supported constant 'lights on' principle.

But, the original poster was asking about the console section.
Standard and Canadian models should both have the same wiring harness containing the necessary extra wires to connect either type of assmilator, and this doesn't affect the console harness section, the colours of which are incorrectly identified on the Mk3 wiring diagram. The difference in Canadian model wiring only applies to the assimilator and wiring connections, and ignition switch internals.
