Anybody know where to get original looking replacement mirrors for a 1974 commando. The rectangular looking ones where the thread pattern on the stems fits into the original master cyclinder?

The stems should be available from Andover Norton or any good AN parts supplier, unfortunately the original rectangular mirrors generally haven't been available for some years as far as I know, so I can only suggest you keep checking ebay unless our members have any to spare?

Stems from AN as LAB says and nice quality mirrors from Halcyon Classic Parts in Ware, Herts, UK. That's what I did anyway.

Kinda depends on how picky you are about "original looking". You see a lot of mirrors on Ebay that are similar but they are really more squarish than the originals that had one end clearly narrower than the other. If you can live with that, they are running about 25 dollars a pair.

I bought a set of these from this supplier and they came with an extra set of stems, one of which had the correct thread. They are of decent quality, I don't know how long the chrome will last as they have yet to be subjected to any use.
