Looking for a pair of knee grips to fit a 1956 Wideline fuel tank. There are probably reproductions out there. Does anybody have a good recommendation? I'm spending boo coo money on the tank refinish so I'm looking to get a really nice pair. Screwed on or glued?

I believe the screw on type knee grips were for pre-featherbed bikes, the wideline ones are thin, no lettering, just fine horizontal ribs.
A pair on my shelf are from Norton Bits (a Norvil EBay alias), and look to be quite usable - i do have a use for them when i get motivated.
Despite negative comments from many quarters re Norvil i have always received a good service/product from them for pre Commando machines.

Jeff Hunter Engineering appear to specialize in rubber knee pads jeffalanhunter@aol.com I got a set from himfor my 1955 Model 7 which were only used for 1955 models and look identical to the old ones.
