Minnovation alloy yokes

I am looking seriously at a set of these, but at 313GBP+shipping they are certainly an "investment". Does anyone have any experiences with them?

I don't think something made from eggs would be very strong, at any price. Take a look here http://www.billetbikebits.com/shop/inde ... 19852dce27 they have some for £285. Check out CNW, they have a set expressly made for Nortons, pricy, but knowing their reputation, a sure thing.

Minnovation are absolutely top class kit, designed by a racer and a look around the paddock here will see a lot of top spec bikes using them...I would recommend them.

Just had a look, they look good , I checked the price, (page 10), it was £275 + vat, as you are in USA you wouldn't need to pay vat

I run a modified set of these clamps on my Seeley - modified in that I'm using essentially 2 bottom clamps to allow full adjustment of my forks (pinch-bolt top and bottom). Martin Page from Minnovation is a stand up guy, and only makes the best stuff.

No VAT but I need the Handlebar clamps (they are extra), my Clip-on and Rear-set days are over!

I looked at RGM yokes (because of the price-difference) but you have to use clip-ons and they do not have steering-stops, so it looks like Minnovation wins.

I looked at the minnovation site, and found a fork cartridge kit that uses showa internals. $800 for the setup. More expensive than the lansdown, and probably not as good of service. But it is available for other bikes as well.

I am the proud owner of a set of minnovation racing alloy yokes. They really are superbly made but no stops , so you will have to make your own.

I emailed Kenny Cummings from NYC Norton about thhese a while ago
He replied
"I am now the exclusive representative for Minnovation Racing. I can supply you with an absolutely stunning set of alloy yokes.
Available in 7", 7 3/8" (standard Norton), and 7 1/2" centers. 34.5mm or 35mm DIA bores. And other sizes up to 42MM as a special order.Supplied natural alloy finish. C/W with Timken bearings, alloy dust seal, drilled alloy top CTR nut, washers & all fasteners. Ready to fit.

$495.00
Add $55.00 for pinch-bolt top clamp option (to raise forks up proud of top)

RGM list steering stops as a separate part

Hobot wrote on the thread “please help my steering stop” :-“btw I've a spare RGM yoke set uninstalled to be rid of
Don’t know if he still has them (or if they have been drilled /lightened

) but you could ask.

I took the plunge and ordered a set of Minnovation trees from Kenny, the "pile-o-Commando" grows larger and more expensive!

The Minnovation yokes arrived!, I got home today and they were here. They are beautiful, gorgeous and certainly look "right", I figured the exchange-rate ain't going to get any better anytime soon so I went for it.
