Mikuni VM/TM jetting?

Hi Forum,

After years of reading this forum (thanks all for sharing knowledge) I have my own first topic to post. Question is: Is there a difference in jetting the Mikuni VM vs TM carbs? I have the possibility to try a set of TM34 on my 850 but I have to figure out the jetting myself. Can I use the jetting guidelines for the VM carbs from Victory Library as a starting point or will the jetting for TM be totally different? Any experience or suggestions?

I had good results from Mikuni specialist TD Hatrick of Mikuni OZ. Have a look at their web site, there seems to be loads of info on jets for VM and TM carbs.

Not much cross-over in jet sizes between VM and TM.
