How the hell do you fax to England?

This is the number I'm trying:

011 44 01604 631838

Does that look right? I don't want to go to Les but I bet they at least have email...

I don't think they have email. You really need to call Angie. Not to sponsor a provider, but I use ECG for my long distance phone from the US and to UK is .30/min., Lundonium is .05/min. That is a lot better than AT@T or your local landline provider, and you can't tell the difference, plus they speak the Queen's English, just like you do unless you are from Tejas.

Forget the 0 after the 44.

I dont care about the calling costs, I just don't have time to call there and hope they answer.

Dave, should there be a 2 digit number between 44 and 01604 631838 ?

That number I would't know other than I use #14 for Andover orders.

This is the number you dial from the US to fax Hemmings:

011 44 1604 631838

Always drop the Zero before the area code.

Thank you, sir.

Angela got straight back to me by fax.

Swoosh, I can't believe you cannot find time to talk to Angie. Its worth it as I spoke to Angie last night on the phone and she's a gem! Nice to get someone on the phone who knows what you need and loves a laugh! Lucky bugger is Ol'Mick having her help around.

You sly old Fox :)

Actually they don't. My old lady listened to the Mick DVD for a few seconds and
sniffed "Bloody northeners..."

BTW, I think they are closed Friday Sat and Sundays. It is a bother
about no email, RGM and Les make it SO EASY but you are better off
dealing with MHM and you can simply use your plastic on the phone
or by snail if you wish.
Remember, be happy you have them now they ain't spring chickens
and like the rest of us will retire sooner than later.

The problem is that they didn't put their Norvil parts in the latest price sheet.

Right now I just need to the correct prices on a couple items and then worry about calling and ordering.

Looks like the fax went through.

Crap, fax seemed to connect, but then I get an error.

Looks like I have to get up early.

Don't you keep a phone by your bed?

Most of Oregon appears to be 8 hours behind UK time, so you'd only have to phone them before around 9.15 AM your time, or maybe that is early to you?

If I calculate that correctly it's 5:15pm UK time. Does anyone know their shop hours?

And why wouldn't they publish the Norvil parts prices? They do all the rest... <sigh>

The "0" before the "164" is how you call long distance within England. It's the equivalent of those of us in the US hitting "1" to get LD service. BTW, the bundles suppliers who offer Internet phone service (like Comcast) have rates to the UK that are only around 6 cents a minute and OneSuite (the service I use to call family over there ) are only 2.5 cents a minute.
