Doesn't the corn (when it settles out and combines with H2O) still attack the AL? Which means it needs to be sealed again? Why bother if you can get a FRP tank that is resistant.

I'm sticking with avgas in my unsealed fiberglass tank for now, not that I have to make long trips.

yes, when I went from glass to original steel...the tank is absolutely wider thus my fork tubes hit due to a worn down frame stop on my 70!...have to figure something out before I restore this tank. Put the new tank on the bike and see if the fork tubes touch the side of the tank.

Pre-preg carbon is fine with Efuels.............strange that someone is making carbon tanks for race bikes though, as these cannot be used for racing without special bladders being fitted internally.
