Hi all,
A merry Christmas to all and a big thanks to all the contributors who assisted me with advice and encouragement in keeping my bike on the road. It’s always nice to know that sage advice and decades of experience is available from all over the world on this forum.
Although I didn’t do big mileage I had a trouble free run with the bike over the year. It almost never failed to start on the first kick and delivered great pleasure on the road. With over 10 km of dirt road between me and the tar my bike can never look pristine but it never disappoints.
The brake mods I made have improved it greatly. With an upcoming hand operation, I’m hoping to improve the waning strength in my right hand which should further improve my riding.
Anyway, stay safe and have an excellent Christmas and prosperous new year.

Merry Xmas Jerry and all, new heads and everything else for our old bikes is just a pipe dream for me, I just do what I need to do with my old Norton, so far has given me good service in the 46 years I have enjoyed it and its been good to me, well hopefully the coming year will get better, so stay safe everyone and best wishes to you all family and friends and keep upright and stay in the saddle.

Hope the Super Rocket gets finished .... and here is a storyfrom backinthe day... Coming out of a tutorial when a student I offered a girl a lift... She was delighted and asked what I drove expecting me tosay something like Morris Minor... The expression onher face when told Super Rocket was well , feminist...
