Its all good really though no different than... Norton, Triumph, VW Beetle, Mini Cooper, Fiat, and many more trying to capatalize on an icon brand names from yesteryear...

We have a big race here in OZ called Bathurst and is a Holden vr's Ford battle.. Strangely enough IMO people some people think they are buying a vehicle that is the "same" as what won the race or raced.. Buying "Brand Names" is a baby boomer addiction for some!!!

The photos seem to show a rigid rear end, which I'm assuming is why it needs a suspended seat. I guess Harley does sell some "hard-tails", but I certainly wouldn't want to go so far "retro".

I love it almost as much as the Vincent engine in the Indian frame.
What happened to the Buell S1, the Yanks almost built a respectable motorcycle there ?
The XR750 TT Harley road racer almost got there too.
OMG ! ! All that engineering expertise and that is the product ?
I never give up, recently I've seen some American movies that were actually subtle.
I like those Triumph Rocket 3s, ' some things are so bad that they are good'.

To each his own and all that, but I think its awful.

Seems to me that motorcycle design is having a tough time. With designers no longer needing to think how to make them faster (cos they're already too fast for most) they don't really seem to have found an alternative use for their skills!

To my eye, the most exciting new bike at present is the new Ariel, not the girder forked 'Confederate lookalike' but the sports version with Ohlins forks etc. I know it ain't cheap, but at £20k it makes a high spec Garner Norton look... err... well...

But as I said, to each his own!
