Good evening all,

I'm new to this forum, but have been on NOC & BI for some years & recognise other names here :)

I have a little electrical problem, I just tried fitting a new headlamp loom to my mk III Commando, but it seems that rhe white/yellow wire running from the kill switch to a 4 pin connector block has been bridged. It looks like the pin has been broken off so the dpo has cut into the cable from the switch cluster and the h/lamp harness and bridged the connector with piece of wire & a bullet connector for this circuit.

I'd like to avoid buying a new throttle switch cluster or cutting into my new loom if I can! Is it possible to repair the connector on the switch cluster side so that I can connect the new loom. Or alternatively replace the block (i.e. the one with pins) on the end of the switch cluster cable. The connector in question is one of the 4 pin plastic/nylon jobs, locked with a plastic/nylon pin into a small hole on 2 sides and a metal safety clip... any ideas please?

In the interim I've reconnected the old loom!

Regards

Mike

Oh, Top Man LAB!! Link much appreciated, Looks like I should be able to just add the missing pin.

Cheers, Mike
