So I've got this '63 Atlas and it needs head work as the valve guides are pretty much shot. This bike still has the original scrolled rockers and low pressure head setup, do I want to use valve guide stem seals in this configuration or not?

I think the correct answer is no due to the risk of sticking a valve...

i dont think it would do any harm

I ran intake valve seals for approximately 50K miles with no trouble.

Recently, Comnoz rebuilt my head and advised no seals due to increased risk of a sticking valve. I went with his recommendation.

Thanks texas, I had found a thread here, but couldn't find again, and I couldn't remember who said "no seals" and whether author was bonafide (they are).
