Hi all,

I am new to the site from Nova Scotia, Canada and looking for help ID'ing some parts. They are a swingarm and wheel setup. The brake drum and baking plate are Harley juice drum setup. The drum hase been modified to fit the hub. the hub uses 6 bolts to mount the drum and the HD part used 5 bolts before modification. THere are know identifying markings on the swingarm or on the wheel.

Any help is appreciated.

iFlybyu , this is wierd Harley Norton mind meld stuff kind of like the Nomad episode of early Star Trek where a deep space collision blends the alien spaceprobe with the human one to create a nightmare. Thank God for the anti-gravs and transporter on this blend...Good luck from Toronto, personally I would put it on Evil Bay and work on going back to a more stock situation. Peter.

Torontonian,

Are you saying the swingarm and wheel are Norton? DO you know what Norton they would be off of?

Thanks

Mike

Thanks for the info, i appreciate it. The swingarm does look like an extended norton?? Possibly for hillclimb??

I will have to do more looking into what all these parts are off of...

Mike

Sort of surprised that you would want to go with that great lump. Most
of us here are unhappy when we lift a stock pre disk rear set up, it is
so heavy. This looks positively massive.
Plenty of reasonably price rear set ups around if you choose to
go back to stock.

Very much appreciate seeing a sweet sixteen inch rim installed, its something only I and TC can appreciate if power enough to spin it on hill climbs and drag events. Otherwise its like a water filled boot to a ballerina.
