Looking for feedback on Royalchoppers (Indian tank manufacturer)

I know some members have bought from them, just wondering what the general consensus is of their quality fir and finish?

Was a write up in Classic Bike Guide couple/few months ago , the buyer/author anticipated some issues which were addressed once he had tank , he was pleased with “his result” and felt he had saved a bit of $ ….

I have bought a few sets and it's been hit and miss. The roadster set I bought is excellent for a rider and tremendous value. The Fastback tank i bought had the wrong paint (metallic rather than solid) and fitment was not so great. I bought a BSA A65 tank and it was great. I will buy from them again.

Be sure to thoroughly test for leaks and even ride with it for a few days to ensure no rubbing/rattling fitment prior to spending $$$ for a good paint job.

My east-asia made tank (unknown exactly where from as I purchased from first owner) seems to have fitment issues due to front neck area being too close to the steering tube with the mounting studs barely able to insert into frame mount bracket big holes. Studs end up hard against the rear edge of those holes with neck incontact with steering tube. I made up offset brackets to put mounting studs further forward with tank sitting further rearward.
