1971 Commando
Front drum brake
Cable stop (the one that is riveted on the brake plate)

Does this have a part number?, is there a "pretty" replacement?

Isn't it item 30 here http://www.oldbritts.com/1971_g17.html

Seems to be listed as 'tie rod' though. I'd call Ella.

Whenever I restore a bike with a drum brake I drill the riveted end off, drill and tap a hole in this part and then resecure it with s suitable washer, an Allen bolt and some loctitie. This is after I have cleaned it up and sent it for chroming.
