Poor ole Trixie, one of 'her' lifters had chunk out the push rod seat so Wes gave me his old ones he decided not to use. Stellite faces have wear line that can be felt, so wondering if any one is set up to to resurface these or know who might?
No machinist around her has surface grinder for this job.

Oh cool Jim.
Just Stock 2S combat cam, [I think], as didn't knock on lugging climbs and the rest of Trixie is pure Combat. I didn't press Trixie, just wanting a normal running nothing special comfortable easy operation Commando any one can relate too. So never spun her to almost 7000 where the 2S Cam really starts packing it in to know for sure.

Would it be alright if I also sent the cam to eyeball if still ok to use or needs a touch up too?

Off to pay for all this, see ya, too bad not on a Commando is all.

Be glad to eyeball the cam too. You can just bring them to LOP if you will be there.
I do radius grinding also. Jim

LOP, oh Lake of the Pines, hm that's the weekend before Barber's.
Was hoping to get a runner by then, but expect your plate is full so don't want to intrude on your commitments. Ya know when you see serious destroy parts its skews ones initial optimistic judgment of what's acceptable or not in merely marred items : (

Wes introduced me to LOP, but he didn't think he could make both Barbers and LOP. I may yet talk him and myself into some back to back road trips, while we still can.

Economy &/or peoples stress has gone up around here so BSA lifters investment - [spread out over say 2 decades] is within reach - but I'm need more talking into getting any detectable advantage by it, but less valve train strain. I think - Peels needs the drag only cam to kick over and not detonate on 91 octane and tame supercharge throttle. Wonder if it a BSA kit would stop Peel calling in bats.
I'd miss that little treat from my Commandos.

Almost $600 in J&P items arrived today, All for Peel - tires to mirco wire harness
So about $1000 on Peel this month alone, not counting some weeky machine shop trip to diddle this and that.
