After 2 years from hell helping my wife battle with the dreaded "C", finally feel that I'm getting back to the new normal. Half way through the war, after winning the 1st battle, all was set to get the 961 back on the road. Life decided differently though and the 2nd battle ensued but due to negative responses to treatments, we lost.
Silver lining time, after sorting out the necessary I was stuck with a wheelchair adapted vehicle, bought to get her through the last summer, which a local Kawasaki dealer offered to take in part ex for a Z900 he was having difficulty shifting, old model. Been out a couple of times, still running in but, what a machine! To borrow Kawasaki's slogan, Let the good times roll! Again.
Ps. Strange enough, we got married on a Z900 back in the summer of '78.

Condolences on losing the second battle, what a horrible thing to have to go through. Glad to hear you’re getting a new normal established. Best wishes.
