Seems to be the prevailing attitude in business.
Let me tell you what I can't do for you...

Sitting down here in NZ couriers out of the USA seem to have two principle characteristics.

Expensive

And slow.

In contrast UK is

Moderately expensive

And generally fast.

I got my package from A/N via royal mail, 5 days

Has Z1 taken over Mikes XS and the other businesses mentioned in the first contact?

Interesting. I bought a lot from Mikes XS back in the day. They were great to deal with. Sorry that you're having issues with the current set up

Likewise.

The USPS randomly providing sporadic service in both pick-up & delivery is a clear indicator of the transitioning to a 3rd world.

The shipper at Z1 (had the person been an EMPOWERED employee) should have thrown the 50 boxes in a car and taken it to the post office.
Sitting idly by and watching shipments grow roots šŸ•” is the epic fail.šŸ˜ž

Niche Cycle (also in FL) shipped the next day, delivering 1500 miles away today. šŸ

OH you are so right. I remember when I was a wage slave and if I mentioned similar Those in Authority would simply be aghast.
Why that isn't how it is done. We have procedures. We would have to find someone upstairs who could deal with that. They
wouldn't be happy. And that is how the entire civil service operates. We are doomed. And this is hardly news.

Agreed.
My basic mail delivery has never been worse.
In 2022 congress threw over $50 BILLION DOLLARS at the USPS to help alleviate the $200 BILLION debt it has accrued.
Politicians assured us all they were going to address all the shortcomings of the United States Postal service.
"All will be well" they proclaimed.
Course' that same congress is the body of governing responsible for passing earlier legislation plunging the USPS into the deep red hole in which they now reside.

Why has the postal service gone broke?
They're being forced to compete in todays business environment ,competition from UPS FedEX , DHL, Amazon, while still providing a real pension and medical benefits package that few do anymore. All expenses have to be paid from generated revenue. How does the corporate world (was gonna say corporate America but its global) maximize revenue? Raise fees, cut service levels, and cut worker wages and benefits. USPS can't cut wages because they are federal employees so that leaves the other two. I have a friend who worked in the USPS sorting center in Philadelphia and according to him the amount of fuckoffery and sloth attitude was unbelieveable, a wonder anything ever got anywhere in less than a month.

Notice the "6 day delivery guarantee"

While congress claims that USPS gets no tax dollar support they regularly allocate "support money" to them in the form of billions of dollars.

but this is how its spent.....

I think USPS should raise rates.
Stamp prices too.
And to HELL with bulk mail discounts.
Make them pay the same as everyone else.

They plan on raising stamp rates soon $.68 to mail a letter. Still a bargin, and yes no more bulk rates and no more free mail for members of congress. Not because its too expensive but FUCK EM! We gotta pay so should they.

Another shovel full of JUNK MAIL that I don't want or need, and no motorbike parts.
Let me tell you what I can't do for you...

The private enterprise could have helped themselves here.

Or notified the PAYING CUSTOMER the USPS has been sporadic.
