I have been quite concerned about the likelihood of vibration killing one or both filaments of my original 1157 tail light bulb. This evening, I took some pictures of my tail light with the original bulb and then installed a Sylvania Zevo 1157R LED and took more pictures. I am pleased with the results. There may not be a quantum leap in brightness, but I like the enhanced vibration resistance. The camera shutter speed and f-stop settings were the same for all images. Please note that these are the RED led units. I considered the 6000K units which are slightly higher wattage, but decided on these.
