Dommie with a K2F. How is it possible to set the point gap? I am lucky that it is already at .012.
 
Loosen the slotted screw in the baseplate then wedge a straight blade screwdriver into the notches near the points, and twist. Wish I could provide a pic.

If it's steel then it's adjusted as above
If it's brass then you will need some points adjusting spanners to undo the locknut on the points anvil to adjust
Hopefully you have an unworn cam ring or a brand new one
 
What problem are you having?

You slightly loosen the big slotted screw, then move the plate that holds the contact point that is not mounted on a rocker.
