I thought after being on this web site for a long time I would finally post a picture of my commando. Hope you guys and girls like it.

Thanks! This has been a labor of true love. These bikes get under your skin after just one ride. Still can't wait to build some new wheels. I will try and post another photo with the saddle bags mounted. They set it off.

Very nice. Thanks for sharing!

These bikes look so good in black. 8)

JMO, but black wires would add to the appearance. Red means stop against that beautiful background. When I saw a picture of my bike with the yellow Accell coil single coil I had to go out and buy a black Dana. The yellow coil was used on a bike were it's hidden. Again JMO

Good, and bad.

Good: Steel tank!

Bad: I see a rusty chip just above the right side spark plug.

Go to a "Goth" supply shop and get some Black enamel nail polish, or a model builderhobby shop and get Testor's black paint and a tiny brush. A touch up always looks better than a rusty chip!

Thanks everyone! The coils have been changed to Dana single coil and chain was changed to 520 oring since pictures were taken. Saddle bags were also added. Yes wires are still red, but the NGK dealer didn't have resistor wires in black and I was ready to ride. I was told that I needed this type of wires because of 3 phase charging system. I will post a new picture of the bike this afternoon.

This raises a question. Will running resistor plugs (like Champion RN7YC) with solid core wires and non-resistor caps suffice to keep Sparx regulator/rectifiers and/or Boyer MicroDigital ignitions working properly?

Apologies for the thread hi-jack.

I've wondered along those lines too Ron. My bike runs resistor wires only at the moment.
I could make up a set of solids with Honda end caps with resistors.
