Just doing an annual service (2600 miles since last one) and I have to say how impressed I am with the JS rocker cover gaskets.
1. No leakage evident at all before service.
2. Removed the nuts and the covers lifted off so easily.
3. Still in good condition - going back on.
4. A quick wipe of the covers, the mating faces on the head and the gaskets and back together.

I find it really satisfying working with nice stuff! cheers Jim!👍👍

+1. I bought mine when I was chasing leaks, before I put a breather valve in. I've kept them on because they make the tappet adjustment much easier.

Agreed, things like this turn annoying tasks into pleasurable ones.

Another example being the12 point head hardware sold by both Jim and Matt at cNw, they make checking / torquing the head fasteners a pleasure, unlike the faffing around with assorted box spanners as with the original fasteners.

I totally agree with Nigel on these 12pt. bolts. I can still get to the bolt behind the carbs without having to remove the starter motor.
