Make sure they are open type with a large exit hole.
I believe the peashooters sold by Andover Norton are good for power. Others will hopefully verify.
The open peashooters require 260 mainjets unless you are at a very high elevation.
Using my crude hill climb method I measure a 9 bhp difference between open peashooters and black caps. That was at just 4200 rpm!

Happy with mine from RGM
Mine are RGM. Excellent exterior finish and tone, but the RH silencer rattles (loudly) over the slightest bump. Very irritating. Sounds like the baffle has come loose. Can't see a way to get into it, to fix it. It happened in the first 3,000 miles. Sadly that was some years back.

Got a little doozy of a situation. Noticed my right muffler was rusted out and had a gaping hole on the bottom size. I tried to remove the muffler in preparation of replacing it but the muffler will not come out for the life of me. Doused it with wd40 and twisted and turned it but will not budge. Anyone have this issue or can give me any pointers on how to remove what looks to be a rusted on muffler? I should update this thread to be joining the Norton club with some pointers lol

WD40 isn't fantastic as a penetrating lube.
ATF mixed 50/50 with laquer thinner works well.
It is quite flammable though.

Some years back?! Can’t be that irritating then!!

If the absorption tube is loose it may not be properly lined up with one end or ‘t’other. A sure way to take the edge off the oomph.

They’re not rocking horse shit or diamonds… a new one would b a worthy investment I venture to suggest…

Heat, penetrating oil, and patience. I used some "Deep Creep" by Seafoam recently on a stuck air compressor and electric motor that had been outside in the salty ocean air for years and everything eventually came loose without damage. It took a few weeks.

I wasn't very clear. The silencer was replaced 'some years back', in 2013. So no chance of a warranty conversation, despite few miles since. The bike was bought by me in March, having done 3,100 miles on these silencers. Rattle became loud this summer. One day I'll replace it. Unfortunately, not made of money and faults that affect the bike have taken up spare cash. No edge off oomph. Just rattles.

Removed silencer. The baffle rattles against the outer skin at the rear of the silencer. It stops when I grip it with my finger and thumb. So, i drilled a small hole and bolted the baffle to the outer skin. The rattle now gone. Bit of a bodge, I'll see if this fix lasts. Should have thought of it before.
