Well, I have decided that the first thing in fixing the bike, now in a heap, is the hub bearing refurbishment. The wheels have been unlaced so I just have the raw hubs. Being bare hubs it'll be easier to heat the hubs in the oven if necessary but is there a jig to hold it whilst the bearings are being pulled out? I have a blind bearing puller to remove the bearings.

jig saw a hole in a couple scraps of 2" x 10"s, screw them together...

..... screw them together with the hub inside or make it so the hole is smaller than the hub and pull against the hub while supporting the 2x10's?????
