Hi Jean
love you rearset pedals. I do mine in one piece but have always intended to use the adjustable method. The single piece of alloy does not give much support to the bush area. Can you do a simple plan for me? I am most intrested in your bushes as they look like alloy.
Thanks all the best Chris

Thanks Chris,

Adjustable is a big word, I have 12 holes giving a change of 30 degrees which is just too much for any fine adjustment, it gave me the possibility of moving a step though. More adjustment is possible by repositioning the gear shift arm and still more with the screws on the rod. The size of all parts was dictated by the materials I had on hand. The pedal assembly (two arms and a bushing) pivot on a stainless steel spacer and I have a Teflon washer on the back to keep from scratching the frame. If I didn't have a teflon washer, I would have cut some out of a black plastic (well poly) bottle, with no heat, it would have been just as good.

Right now, the foot peg is threaded and I screw a stud in it, then this is screwed in the frame, for strength, I will most likely use a grade 8 cap screw and modify the foot peg so that I can insert the cap screw from the outside.

Pictures of the parts, if you want measurements, I could take them.

Hi Jean

Thanks
that last photograph really makes it clear! A much better bearing area.
Nice work, I will have a bash once I get Pembrey over with.
All the best Chris
