I thought I was all done building project bikes from spare parts when I sold the last rolling Norton Commando, but since I had ALMOST everything to build another one from, short of a frame and front wheel, I thought "what the heck".

Kenny Dreer sold me an old frame he still had, and I got a front wheel from a guy in trade for my bare hub, so I loosely assembled everything else, and got a mostly complete rolling project going.

This was the starting point-

I didn't get pix of the engine loose assembly, but it has a Combat cam in very good shape-

Also have everything to turn it into a High Rider, if the buyer is so inclined-

Engine assembly all done to the point of emptying the tub that all the spare engine parts were in-

The front wheel arrived today, the last step in assembling it.

Here are the different options for pipes I have on the shelf-

This time, I have very few leftover parts. Almost zero engine parts (a couple of spare heads, a set of rods and a stack of clutch plates), a rear hub, a set of drum brake style forks, a couple of tail lights and a rolling chopper chassis.

As things seems to be going lately, I'll probably stumble across a deal on an engine for the chopper, then decide all I need is a frame, pair of wheels and gas tank to build another standard Commando...

...and then start all over again!

Gosh they all look neat, but yeah the upsweep pipes do make nose look lower racier.
Sell em all with the bike so owner can change looks and clear your shelves of
temptation.
