Santa was very nice in our house. Brought my dad a Norton stool and the new 2012 calendar. I got some other small things like a tool roll that ill fill up to go with the bike when it hits the road.

It's Christmas..

Merry Christmas
Matt

My Baby got a complete set of front and rear shoes. Front are the high friction RGM ones from CS. I've been noticing the rear is pretty worn, so this winter will be a good project to get the new ones on. Actually the original front ones are pretty good after I arced them, I'm hoping the new high friction will be better. I'll report. I hardly use front brake except on straight highway anyhow.

I think I may give myself a present for being so good to the boss and get the new sump breather from Jim.

Also got 2 Doc Watson albums.

Merry Christmas everyone.

My mother in-law bought me a Norton coffee cup and 2012 calendar from Norton!

My wife got me a workbench for the garage (one of those 3 drawer, with light, with back and storage etc.) and another subscription to Classic Bike Guide!

My sister bought me a tap and die kit and a grinding / sanding set for my Dremel!

My 'ole man sent me a copy of Cycle World from Sept '99 that has the reviews of the VR880 and feature on the "Norton Girls". His friend gave it to him for me a bit ago. Good memories!

And.. My brother in-law bought me the new Tom Waits "Bad as Me" on vinyl. What a fantastic record.

Most importantly my wife and i drank bloody marry's, read for a bit and then fell asleep watching "Elf" starring Will Ferrel. Now it's time for a PBR and dinner.

What a great day. Merry Christmas.

My daughter gave the the Hogslayer DVD....watched it this afternoon. :D
The Commando got a Norris camshaft, alternator stator with wires that aren't broken, isolastics shimmed and waiting for some head work.

Got a book ' Legendary raceing Bikes ' , with the 72 & monocoque and rotissary racer featured amougst the whizz bangs .
Couple of XR 750s in there too .

Christmas has been and gone, again, hopefully all Forum members went in and came out healthy.
Got the old (Kiwi) Inlaws staying for 3 weeks, poor buggers.
I was very surprised to find my riding jacket had three Norton patches added to it, and a new Norton cap
with a couple of badges on it, sitting under the tree, and with some luck my little girl might bring me a T shirt
and a pair of carbs back from California.
Hope this finds every one, all over the world, fit and or healthy, or at least happy.
And those in business, a prosperous new year.
AC.
