Are these #22 definitely the same part? front and back? ...because I got my 2nd iso assembly today, and the #22 adjuster will not screw on this one either. I'm getting frustrated.

iso question

Where'd you get the parts from? I'm wondering if there is more than one manufacturer of the MKIII isos and they have different threads. I only say that because I've seen different adjustment specs from vendors. There's also a possibility that threads have changed over the years and new adjusters are not compatible with old shafts. That happened with the camshaft threaded hole for example - it was 26 tpi in the old days and new cams are 28 tpi (the factory oil seal guide tool no longer fits!).

I can go measure the front too.

These are all off a MkIII, not aftermarket.

Let me know if this helps.

thanks, the threads are the wrong size. Gonna try assembly 3 on wed or thurs

And you got these from Old Britts? I would have asked them to measure the threads before shipping the second set.

Yeah, I explained how the adj wouldn't fit, and apparently their whole stock was like that. 3rd times a charm! They sent out a corrected replacement today.

Also I had emailed AN and they said it's best to fit the new assemblies dry...without any type of grease
