..blanking off/removing the chain drip?

I can see it there, hiding almost inaccessibly behind the oil tank.

How do I 'fix' it?

I should add, that I'd like to have the option to be able to return it to standard, should I ever decide to move the bike on (I won't) or develop an inexplicable craving to regularly cake the back of my kecks in shite (I won't).

Any tips?

I put a short piece of hose with a bolt screwed into it. Couple of hose clamps and done. Reversible.

3/8 vacuum cap and some JB, stick it on and forget it

I placed a suitable diameter bolt into the tank pipe with some epoxy. Done.
