Is it still a motorcycle even if it has 4 wheels?

looks more like a scooter. I was wonering how many cc's, but the tech specs aren't listed yet.

It looks like a motorcycle to me.It may be more beneficial to a new or novice rider confidence wise.Anything that gets more people out riding is a good thing.

It could also benefit those who have lost their ability to keep two wheels balanced safely due to medical reasons or age. I have a good friend that is 82 that has been unable to ride anything, but a hack since he was at least 70. Something like this would be great for him if he wanted to ride w/o a sidecar. I think it looks like fun to ride, but I wouldn't pay for one while I can ride two wheels. Looks like a big smiling scooter from the front.

they have a few in the local shop in VA its three wheels two front and they are 250cc its wierd looking and they tap like a diesel truck but if you cant hold two wheels up and have 6 grand they could be a nice ride

Just because it's quadracycle, doesn't mean it isn't a motorcycle. This is Yamaha's version of the same concept. There used to be a sidecar setup called the Equallean that had the same handling dynamic. A motorcycle is normally thought of as having two wheels, but that's just conventional wisdom.
