Interstate tank.

Hi all,
If and when I get hold of an Interstate tank, do I need to change the seat.
Is the tank longer ?

Yes....If you look at my bike you will see that i had to modify the stock fastback seat to accept a Interstate tank.
No big deal really...just not as comfy for two up. I would not have done this to a good fastback seat pan...mine was broken anyway so I wasnt to sacreligous by doing this.

Always thought an Interste tank would look good with the sides knocked in , for Clip-ons and Knees , aka Manx/Triumph T150 ish.
A turkey used two old 650 breadbox tanks to make a long Commando tank .Was reasonable looking , and cheap .

Theres TWO differant steel Interstate shapes , is there not.? . P.S. for 650 bucks , you could have one MADE , in ALLOY .
