This is a really interesting find, matching numbers and I'm almost certain it's never been opened up, all fasteners are factory original with no deformation of the cylinder head that you'd typically see on Triumphs that have been rebuilt. Even has the genuine (not re print) factory service manual, cold compression is 160 both jugs, original posi drive fasteners everywhere, and even the original plug boots. When I get around to opening this up I will not be surprise if she's on the original bore

ROUTINE SERVICE & MAINTENANCE ONLY!!!!

A totally original Bonneville that has been ridden as it should, AND maintained as it should, NEEDS TO KEEP DOING EXACTLY THAT!

"Once in a Lifetime" for most of us...

The '71 Commando I recently refurbished & sold for a widow was similar - I couldn't find any signs of wear on any of the fasteners. Under 10K miles and and sporting an original CA blue license plate with October '71 registration tag - never another year sticker put over.

Anyway, that is awesome. There was one like that in a local dealership, now closed. But no visor.
