Instrument warning light bulbs

It was probably when I tried to reset the time and I was just pressing and holding and hadn't a clue. page 113-114 in the small booklet is where you should find your answwer so I was told. Mine is fine now

Just looked at the book but not very clear but guessing you just scroll through options and illumination comes up ( i recall Marie from service saying).

Thanks I’ll check that out. That sort of unintended technical excellence is right up my alley.

Congratulations to Welshrugby, i had the same feedback from Rob J so hadn't investigated further.
Just had a play and if you turn the key on then hold the toggle switch down for a couple of seconds ILL shows up, then short prods on the button scrolls through 0 - 9. At 5 hey presto i have a speedo backlight again. I like a cheap fix.
