So I finally noticed there is a light inside my smiths speedo,,,lol. It's barely visible and only shows from 10-30mph. Supposed to be so dim? Supposed to be one in the tach as well?

Is that about where the vibrations cause an intermittent connection for the light?

oh haha no, I meant just the only place it shows up through the gauge is from 10-30 mph around the outer diameter of the cup whether the bike is running or not

So, yes, lights inside each. Just a matter of sorting them now.

There is chatter about replacing with LEDs. That will give you better brightness and massively improved reliability (assuming your wiring is tidy).

Brighter replacement bulbs are avalable, or LEDs, note polarity info for LEDs: http://www.norbsa02.freeuk.com/
Check your bulbs and bulb holders to make sure which are the correct bulbs you need.
